On a RUUD 80%, to correctly wire an Aprilaire 5000 to the furnace, I have to run an outlet powered solely by the board EAC and neutral terminals. My question is, where do I run the grounding wire to? If it itself is wired correctly, the blower housing is grounded (the board itself is grounded by contact with the blower housing. Can I just neatly twist the copper wire through/around an eyelet or do I have to pick up one of those grounding screws?

Why not mount a duplex recepticle on the incoming power to the furnace? Then you have an outlet to plug accessories in and a convient outlet for a troublelight.

You should just wire an outlet on incoming power to the furnace as previously mentioned. These air cleaners have an internal switch that detects when the blower is energized.

Unfortunately, while Honeywell has an EAC with a relay which responds to the force of air before energizing, Aprilaire does not. I just put installed a grounding clip to the cabinet. Thanks...
