Yes the round one and all other mercury thermostates can no longer be sold in Connecticut.I have used them less and less over the years but when I needed a cheap floating control it was there. And who can foget how much fun it is to find the small screws to mount subbase and the try to level it.I always felt it looked naked if the customer didn't have a note on it with Scotch tape that stated DO NOT TOUCH.How many I have left mounted so the office types could play with it when the real control had a remote sensor. How many have be connected to two stage units for years ?First it was R12,R502 and then Virgin solvent 10 now the T87 theres less and less of old friends on the shelf at the supply house.
