Hi Doug, hope you're into bigger and better things. I don't know if you remember me you sent me two autographed keypads for the digicool manifold last summer in Virginia, we talked on the phone for a while, ring a bell?

Well I don't know how long the warranty on the digi's are but I've had mine just a little under 2 years (I bought them through the company I was working for). Well I don't work there anymore and don't have a receipt for proof but was wondering what the parts warranty was?

Friday, I discovered the red wire from the PCB to the battery harness came loose. Like a complete dumb arse I tried to fix it only to make it worse. So now I'm back to a spare set of normal 22 gauges (yuck!) and no 410a's (got rid of them all).

Any assistance in leading my in the direction of fixing my tool would be much appreciated.

Autographed keypads????!!!!!

I'm jealous.

Anyway, you might want to call or e-mail just in case he misses the thread.

I still got one, I'd be happy to sent it to you. Maybe it was because I told him I had the yellow jacket pad and wanted to convert.

Thanks

?????

Maybe you think I'm looking for something for free and are ignoring me?

I'm not, I just want my damn gauges to work, I don't care if I have to pay I just dont have the 200 bones for the upgrade and frankly don't need it.

Thanks

Doug doesn't spend much time here, and this forum isn't exactly an official way to contact Digi-Cool.

Why don't you try calling directly instead of getting upset about the lack of response to your post?

thank you mark, I'm not upset...well not at doug anyway. He's just like his creation, top notch.

I'm pissed cos I'm tired of using my high side gauge and pt chart to check 410a with r22 gauges.

Kiwi, kia ora mate, nobody around here does that kind of repair, they just throw it away and buy a new one. God I wish I knew how to solder, and do the haka...Ka mate Ka mate

Dude That's Sad
Where you at? I'll solder that Beyatch for ya

Not kidding but have you tried some kind of tape or glue in the mean time.
Some E6000 is some wicked strong flexible stuff and can be removed.
