Anybody else having any problems with C-H soft starts not making transition?
I have one that did that twice this week on an 063. These are the ones where they have the bypass contactor that comes in when the motor gets to full speed.
My initial suspicion is that the bypass failed to come in, and there was no
"transition made" signal to the controller.
Ran out of time and have to get back to it Monday. Luckily I have a complete spare to just drop in if I need to. Been there before with the C-H soft starts.
Both times it was the electronics portion, not the SCRs.
At home right now, but I think this is an S801 soft start.
Maybe that's why some OEMs switched to Benshaw, a very tried and true brand.
