Does anyone else seem to slow down their thinking process when the above is combined? It just seems like it takes me twice as long to get something done while I am raining sweat all over the meter, gauges and tools. Every where I have been this week was in the nice and bright shiny sun everybody loves, but the weird thing is we get the equipment up and running and here comes the shade when it is time to leave. Ice machines, self contained models are so much nicer to work on that refrigeration and AC just cause of the fact the IM is in an air conditioned building.

Some people fear the mystical ice machine. They can, challenge your mind. But working in the A/C with a challenging job, is not a bad day. Eighty percent of the time, "Eye Candy" is available for viewing.
Not a Bad day at all.

Eye Candy is a nice thing. I call it exercising my eyes. Sometimes the scenery is real nice but most of the time it aint.

I worked for one guy in Southern California and about the only thing I worked on was ice machines!
I hadnt had the extension ladder off the truck in over a month! It was fantastic!
That type of work can spoil a guy REAL FAST!!!
Especially when you've got your truck stock up where you want it. And so most of what you roll on you can close on to. No return visits just to swap out a bad part.

I had a job like that before too. I gotta admit, it is nice to stand around waiting for it to finish a cycle, especially if there's food and coffee around and the a/c's working well :D
Sometimes you can be there a while if the unit's not dumping the ice.
