HCFC - R401B
Similar to R-401A except higher in R-22 content. This blend has higher capacity at lower temperatures (matches R-12 around -30F), and also provides a closer match to R-500 at air conditioning temperatures.
It sounds like it is a drop in for low temp R-12. That would make it simular to MP-66.
None of my handy dandy PT charts have this gas listed so I cant comment on the pressures. Other than to say since it contains a slightly higher percentage of R-22 than does 401-A, it woudl run a little higher pressure.
But I'm NOT a scientist ... I just fix stuff. That's all.
Visit their site, maybe make a phone call.
MP-66 is easy to use and is very reliable. It is the chosen drop in for low temp R-12.
What ya workin on?

R401B is in fact MP66, so just go with what R12 said.......he's right, it's the only one to use for LT R12 replacements.
