Andover Roamio

I have not performed any substitutions yet.
I am trying to reduce the equipment we have to carry around.Is there an alternate converter RS-485 converter for the Andover Roamio.
I have a Johnson CVT -PRO and a Qtech PCMCIA Card for the Carrier systems.
The q Tech card works fine with Johnson also(Carrier OK'ed it and it works)

Can you tell me where you bought your pcmcia card? cost?
Did it come with a package bought from Carrier?
I am assuming it is to a serial port.
I have tried a different brand pcmcia card and can not get the carrier driver to work with it.
Within the CV 3 software. There are notes for the driver to a pcmcia.
I guess it will depend on the manufacture.
