What is the difference between split systems and all in one systems.

"All-in-one" systems are more commonly called "package" systems.
Splits have separate cabinets for compressor and air handler, connected by refrigerant lines.
Package units combine everything in one box. There is a slight gain in efficiency but both air and water have to be supplied and returned to the package unit's location
