I have a Bohn Package unit with a hatachi screw compressor. The compressor is controlled by a honeywell 7100 discharge air controller. The one that has load and unload contacts on the upper right hand side. My load contacts are bad and I need to replace controll but they dont make it any more. Anyone familiar with this and have ay recommendations on what I could replace it with.

I'm not sure which you have, but I purchase a W7100c fro U/R about a year ago.

If you have one set of contacts that makes the NC contacts and not the NO contacts or vice versa, then just install a relay. But that is only a temp fix, normally if you lose the one side the other is just about to go.

The thing about this controll that was different was it would pulsate when it got close to set point so the compresser unloader slide would find the right point then both contacts would stay open untill there was a need for change in set point. At least that what it looks like to me. Its the first time Ive seen this set up. 381 Ill contact you, what was the suffix letter on this controll and am I right about it being no longer avalible. Were they made specificly for screw compressors. Im on a learning curb on this.

I'll check the model # in the am. These all came out of Trane SWUA's and all were working fine when removed.
