My system was finished today in a 2040 sq ft ranch in central Ohio. Load calcs were done for sizing.

Comfort Sense 7000 New Version (fan control on option screen)

The techs connected the system to control humidity in basic mode. My understanding is on a de-humidify call the furnace will run the fan at 70% until the call is satisfied. Is this the way it is intended to be, and do any of you have experience with how the system performs in this mode? The tech said I could disable de-humidify mode if needed, but I thought I'd see how well it works.

Hi Auraka,

I have a similar set up to yours with the CS 7000 thermostat. Can you please explain what you mean by newer version with fan control on the option screen?
I have a g71 MPP with an xp 14 heat pump.

Thanks.

My version has a flat bezel and the fan modes pad is on the options screen. The old version bezel angled towards the screen, and the fan modes pad was on the home screen between system mode and sched pads. Other than that they are probably the same.

Mine is the same as yours. Does the de-humidify work differently with this new CS 7000?

No clue, in fact I'm not sure how it works at all other than what is stated in the manual (70% fan speed on de-humidify call).
