Has anyone every used one of these http://www.cajunfryer.com/fryer2br.htm ? I got it from a friend a few years back and only paid $20 for it. I have been catching big catfish hand over fist the last few weekends and will be having a fishfry soon.

I don't get why they want $450 for a simple fryer. I wonder if there is thermostatic control of the burner?
A much simpler model that does the same thing?

Haven't had catfish for a long time, if I recall the meat is reddish? Do you fry them whole or cut up the fillets?

You got me on the frier. I am just jazzed that I only paid $20 for it. As far as the fish goes, This will be the first time in over a dozen years that I have cooked up catfish.
I think I will cut them into chunks and make fries and hushpuppies. Hopefully this coming weekend. I will let you know how it comes out.
