Hey everyone,
I was sent out to a call today and the issue was that the York YK Chiller with Optiview would no longer communicate with Apogee. I found out that the Apogee was updated to the latest and greatest a week or so ago, and they have been battling this since then.
I know that Yorks require an e-link or microgateway, and it is in the Optiview panel.
The number on the board is: 031-02039-005
The number on the eprom is: 031-02200-005

I guess my question is: Does the existing e-link or microgateway need to be "reflashed" into the system? If so, how would one do that?

Thanks in Advance

What type of integration is this, Modbus or BACnet?

The newest version of Insight (3.10) also includes a newer version of Cimetrics BACstac. The last few versions of Insight included various flavors of BACstac version 4.3, and Insight rev 3.10 includes BACstac version 5.0.

If the Insight software has been upgraded and BACstac hasn't... I'd reinstall BACstac with version 5.0 and see if that helps.

If the version of BACstac has been upgraded, then there may be some difference in how the newer version communicates with the chiller. You may be able to determine the problem by performing a Wireshark capture (www.wireshark.org) at the Insight server.
