Are the Ceiling Mounted Cassette equally as efficient as the wall mounted for Mini Split Systems --- just short of changing filters which may be more of a chore ?

work just as good as the wall min's do just need good yearly matiance and filter changes.
and above all proper install by a good installer.

I didn't realize how big these things were.....No way it's going to fit into my joist unless I build a exterior box around it, which kinda defeat the idea...

Wifey feels the wall mounts are like hanging printers on the wall, but it is what is is...

I love this new VRF technology and am anxiously awaiting prices to be affordable. If your situation suits a mini split without VRF, then it can be sensible to the pocketbook. High efficiency numbers are due to no ductwork and is offset by equipment cost.
