Goodman GPH 15M or York BHQ.

Both package units, 3 ton, 15Kw strip heat. The Goodman has a higher SEER but the York has a high HSPF.

And both are priced the same.

Your wisdom would be much appreciated. Thanks

Look at the total specs.
Heating BTU output at low outdoor temps.
Cooling BTU capacity at high outdoor temps.

I ran into the same problem a few weeks back.

After countless hours of reading on the board I came to the following conclusion.

It's not about the brand, it's the quality of the install that makes the unit. All of the units are basically the same.

I personally chose an Amana (higher-end Goodman).

I did fail to mention that these were bring quoted and installed by licensed contractors with good reputations.
I am curious about the strengths and weakness of the two units. And although Goodman is very open with their specs, info on the York seems to be a guarded secret. Which has led me here.
Thanks again for the replies.
