I am trying to set up alarms that will inhibit during off hours but I am new to AX and have a short amount of time to set this up. I've gotten as far as going to the property sheet of one of the points to set up room temp hi/low alarms, but I don't know how to inhibit it from there on. I know there is a inhibit option, but how do I set it up to inhibit at specific hours? Also, is there a way to set up alarms to be active when a device goes offline?
Your help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If you have an existing boolean schedule that you want to use to inhibit the alarm during unoccupied -
open the schedule, go to property sheet, right click the schedule name, link mark.
Open the property sheet of the point and right click on the alarm extension and link from schedule.
Link the next value on the schedule to alarm inhibit on the extension.
When you're in occ, next value is unocc or logical 0 - no inhibit.
Unocc, next value is occ or logical 1 - inhibit.
Automatically changes the alarm inhibit on change of schedule or holiday.

Be aware to only inhibbit when you do not want alarms. Because the inhibit will not allow alarms to be activationed.
