Worked with one of those guys that has to think about doing something for 25 mins before they actually do anything.ie:"I think I need to take that screw out lets stare at it for a half hour first"

I usually get bored looking at a screw for 20 minutes, but there's lots of other screws to look at :D

I like to jump right in and mess it all up, then spend the rest of day trying to figure out what is really wrong.

Sometimes you're better off looking at that really long screw for 25 minutes before you put it back where a really short screw went and run it through the condenser :)

We would work very well together.
I like to get near the very end before I realize that I lost my hole saw arbor or something...
Worked with one guy who'd hang a length of pipe, step back, light a cigarette, admire that length of pipe until he was finished with the smoke, then repeat the whole process.
Drove me insane.

They don't talk to the screw?
well you would go nuts with me,when i walk in into an acct, for a no cooling on a r.i.first thing i do is shut it down, get coffee, pull grill,{drink coffee while staring at the winter coat wrapped around the condenser}and thinking about the sound my knees are gonna make when i kneel down too clean that baby, and i do mean clean.then i stand up waiting for that sound from the knees again, and mumbling stupid **** about the customer.

It is okay as long as he "becomes ONE with the screw" in the process of staring at it. Unless of course he is just stoned and hallucinating.

I did that once when I sat on a zip screw.

I spend 25 minutes trying to remember where I put the screw.

Did someone tell you to "go screw yourself" before you did it?

It's that real faint hissing sound that you hear as your packing up your tools in a hurry to beat the traffic so you can get an early start on your vacation.....right! :)

Sure is, as you tell the home owner you'll mail them the bill.
do you find that the hardest part of the the job is when you try too push that little deck all the way back into the bottom of that reach in,and you are praying out loud dont kink, dont snap, dont leak

Some of the longest service calls I've been on, were the ones where the guy there before me wasn't there long enough.
