I am looking to purchase another combustion analyzer with printer for gas furnaces. I currently have a Testo 325M with printer. I wanted my next one to be another brand like Bacharach? What Bacharach model is best to purchase and where is the best place to purchase it? Thanks for the help. Steve Gillespie
Hi Steve, If you do primarily residential/light commercial work you want to look at the Fyrite Pro line. You get a better deal on the printer if you pick up a Fyrite Pro 125 'Kit', which includes the printer and a protective magnetic boot.
To take a closer look at the 125 go to http://www.bacharach-training.com and click on the FP 125 on-line operator's manual.
If you have any questions on the instruments or where to purchase, please feel free to give me a call or email me. My contact info is in the 'Contact bacharach's field tech support staff' section.
I'll be around this week and would look forward to talking with you (it's a little slow this time of year!!).

Thanks for your reply Rudy. Can I use my existing IR printer from testo with the bacharach analyzer or do I need to purchase another printer to work with your analyzer?
Hi Steve, that question had never come up before so I checked with CS. Found out that their printer doesn't work with our instruments but our printer does work with theirs - go figure...

whats the difference between the fyrite tech 60 and the fyrite pro...we have the fyrite tech 60 but in the bacharach training site they keep refering to the fyrite pro.Can i assume that i should be able to use all items refering to the pro to my tech 60?

your analyzer is looking for the thermocouple input, probably ... is it plugged in ??

Hopefully, in the last three months, he has ahd this fixed.:p
Another old thread dredged up from the great beyond.
Hi Serviceguy, yep the tech's and pro's are very similar, except for printing and pressure capabilities the info on the pro should apply to techs.

to superheater,
Slimwoodie is correct, the thermocouple must be plugged in for the testo to complete the calibration cycle, same holds true for the Bacharach, right Rudy?
And Rudy, as far as printer compatibility goes, a Testo analyzer only words with a Testo printer.
A testo printer works with:
--"old" bacharach analzyers (pre-Oct 2001)
--"new" Bacharach analzyers (post-Oct 2001)-(when you changed to the Chamjin printer)
I am sure of this as I did the testing.
However, Bacharach changed printers recently.
Rudy, send me a new printer to test and I will update the list!
-Bill
On-time I purchased the UEI analyzer and it works with my ir printer from my old Bacharach
