Have a old Trane 40hp compressor that needs to be rebuilt. Anyone know of a company in NJ that I could contact? The company we usually use only will touch Carlyle and Copeland.

I have done the top ends.......I'm just not familiar with the bottom end. I lack the experience and this is one of our bigger clients. I would love to tackle it.....but it's not my call.

I got a price from Trane.......WOW!....but they have one sitting in NY. Was just trying to way out my options. It's still pumping.......but sounds like something is broken in the bottom end.

I knew a guy who use to fly around to different states and even the Bahamas to rebuild "specialty" compressors but he's dead now.

You still know where there's somone that will fly around to rebuild compressors. I just doubt that anyone's gonna pay him to fly to NJ to rebuild a 40 horse recip. :D
