View Full Version : DX9100 Active Input Scaling

I have a site with a differential pressure flow meter that ramps two pumps up and down on a drive. The meter does not seem to be getting a good reading. Both pumps were on at 100% and the meter was only reading 0.8 psi. I was looking the the DX program and noticed that the scaling for the input is setup in the parameter for the input itself. I thought in the GX9100 the scaling for an active input had to be setup in a four line segment? I believe the range is 0-50, but I haven't confirmed the voltage. Has anyone had to setup this type of system before?

The input parmaters are in the active input and must be modificationed to fit the range of your sensor.

lets say there is an active input setup in the DX9100. The range is 0-50 psi with an output of 0-10v. If I program another active input with a range of 0-50 only with a 0-5v output, could I cut the range to 0-25?

No, 0-100 psi. At 5v a 0-10v input would be at 50% and 50% of 100 psi is 50 psi.

No... If the sensor puts out 0 to 5 Volts at 0 to 50 psi. then the Active input at the DX has to be set up as follows:
High Range = 100
Low Range = 0

High range is the value at 10 volts. In this case 10 Volts equals 100 psi, therefore if your sensor puts out 5 volts, then the DX sees this as 50 psi !!
