i was wondering if any one knows how many Btu's a human body can put out?

Depends on what you are doing. 300 or so just sitting, a whole lot more, somewhere in the 700 range if you are running.

study and read and study. ashrae has documented average btu's for the human body doing about everything you can think of. notonly 250 btu sensible (sedintary office enviroment) but also 250 btu latent, a grand total of 500 btu total

Flames fans are running at 1000 BTUH these days. Of course thats just the average not counting them girls on "The Red Mile".
