Finishing up a site with some DX's. The guy I have been working with has WGX9100 which is a great DX commissioning tool. It is not the DX commissioning tool. Anyone know where to find it as it is not on Mtools and I believe it is not made by JCI. Ad yes I know that the DX is outdated but with what I have seen this is still a solid controller.

Its WGX9100 and DX commissioning are on the M-Tools disk, and always has been.

I know very little of and have not seen the software the OP mentions. I had a customer a few years back that had acquired the software and was going to use it on his single DX. He mentioned he could edit the weekly schedules so it wasn't the GX tool we're familiar with. Since we, thankfully, no longer do business with these people I have no idea how it turned out.

From what you described it is probably a utility called Win DX Monitor

blackbelt unless you are a JCI employee I don't think you can.It has to be dowloaded from the JCI portal and each JCI Branch must license it.

C:\WGX9100\GX9100.EXE

And it's part of config tools which is located on the branch purchase package.

The WinDX license states United Kingdom, and it's not on the branch CD's.

I believe that what he is asking about is WMX9100 which does come from SIS Italy and has to be licensed through a branch license. It is not available for non JCI employees. You can only get it from either the JCI portal or someone who has it already and is willing to share the license.

M tool does have a dx commissioning tool. Not the most user friendly thing, but with the proper editing of the DMO file and knowledge of program I can figure out the problems. In fact the HVACPro program can commission if you have the DMO files. There is a better branch only tool as has been stated, but the job is not impossible without it.

Correct, A few of us are ex JCI employees.(happily) One of our guys has it but says he found online. I dont know how it was ever done before seeing youre PLC live. It sure makes things much easier. Especially for complex logic.

I've tried it and quickly went back to the standard DX commissioning tool. It's neat to see everything switching, but if your tagging all your logic the standard tool does the job.
