Remember when the police would give you a ride home that night to sleep it off and then come back out in the morning to take you to get the truck after breakfast?

Or make you pour it out or just take it from you and put it in their car and
tell you we dont want to see you again tonight.:)

So one day I asked him why that was.
He said that he never bought beer. He knew where the kids all drank and when he was out of beer he would make the rounds and confiscate their beer and 'dispose" of it.
If he was planning a BBQ or party he would start a month ahead of time he said.

I think they relized that they were losing to much money being kind. Not only that they figured you didnt learn anything with free breakfeast with a cop deal :). I do think some things are taken to the extremes with the law side these days. Heck in Virginia they dicriminate for reckless driving only people in Virginia. If your out of state you pay less. TELL ME DOES THIS MAKE SENSE. Needless to say I dont think Pioneer is hiring anyways. Email and dropped resume off no replies :( Oh well going to have to work somewhere else .

But things really were different back then.
Now the people are jerks; suing and turning the cops in for every little thing - so you can't blame them for taking the hard line that protects their butts.
Just a shame it had to go that way.
