Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, TX is taking applications for the position of a full time HVACR Instructor. You must possess a minimum of an A.A.S. degree in HVACR from an accredited college, have great communication and delivery skills, be knowledgeable in all areas of HVACR with a preferred emphasis in commercial and industrial HVAC. Pay is based on experience, but a 9 month contract starts around $49,000 to 51,000 and may be higher depending on degree and experience. Competitive benefits are offered as well. TCC is a great place to teach, I have been there almost 20 years and we are recognized as one of the best training facilities in the region. We currently have four full time instructors and 12 adjunct. Our main training area is in residential and light commercial HVAC as well as commercial refrigeration. One exciting aspect of this position is the nearing design and construction of a new state of the art Energy Technology Center that will become the new home for the HVACR program with an increase in course offerings to include commercial and industrial air conditioning with an emphasis on energy efficiency and sustainability.
