They bought us a case of mr bubbles for leak detection at our facility for refrig and ac work. Should we be using this stuff?

Sure, and in your spare time see who can blow the biggest bubble.

Not if you actually expect to find leaks. Stuff is to thin.

But Dice is right you sure could have some fun.

LMAO!!! Did they buy you a case of vaseline too for when you can't find that leak? Too funny.

When others buy me what THEY think I'll need .... I usually go find some hole to bury it in!

Bean counters are worthless when it comes to purchasing stuff for people who work with their hands!

Buy yourself a jug of Big Blu and be done with it. If this causes an arguement, buy a bottle out of your own pocket and just keep your mouth shut.
Those people who bought you that crap would probably NOT be mature enough to hold an intelligent discussion with in the first place. So dont waste your time trying to convince them of what your needs are. Afterall... they never considered you significant enough to warrant ASKING prior to their great discovery.... now did they?

Find out when one of their kids is having a birthday. Not a young kid, but one who is older ... like teenanger or young adult. Then make a point of wraping up a bottle or two of that bubble stuff and sending it to their kid, as a birthday present.

Might as well just pour water on the lines. I've used Big Blu for several years. Has anybody found one that's better?

I'd be more inclined to buy the stuff that kids use to blow bubbles, ya know with the little wand in it.

I actually used to carry a bottle on the dash for when I got stuck in traffic. I'd sit there and blow bubbles out the driver's window, and make faces at the others stuck in traffic.

Pretty funny to see how they react.

No, but once on my way to Scranton I saw a 5'9"', 295 bald guy driving a gas guzzler of a truck doing it.

I prefer Play Dough. The home owners can pick different colors to match the siding!

Oops, this is the refrigeration forum, stick with the Silly Putty!

Do you guys make out your invoices with crayons?

I must confess that when I started out on my own doing refer work I stocked up on Wonder Bubbles from ToysRUS because money was tight and the wholesalers had me on COD. Big Blu came out much latter in my travels and is by far the best. This after many years of using Calgon or Highside bubbles, they are really off the mark in comparison.

I've threatened to do this, but that is a whole other thread in and of itself.
