Does anyone know where I can find a manual, users guide, etc... on SIGNAL? I figured out how to back up a GCM with this software but haven't figured out how to reverse the process. I want to put an old Signal backup of a GCM into a blank GCM.

What would he need PSI for if all he wants to do is load a program into a GCM.

You cannot backup a GCM / LCM or download to a GCM / LCM with PSI it requires SIGNAL , was 1 of the dumb things about PSI.

The original QNX based NET8000 LAPTOP software was a nice program for the GCM / LCM

I did it. I found the Signal Manual and loaded up a GCM with an old Backup. For those of you who are stuck back in the 70's like me I have a copy if anyone needs one let me know. Now its time to take on TreeTech.

NETWORK 8000 was put on the Market in 1985 / 86 and SIGNAL originally a product of DATA TALK was not around until late 80's as well.

Had tried posting the process for you but mt computer and this site were having a conflict the other day.

We still use NUDL for doing GCM BU. Signal uses the NUDL app to do BU into the Signal project manager.
