I have a NAE 55 that stopped responding to web browsers. The error that comes back is HTTP 500.

Requesting more details from my browser provides this info. This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying.

I checked the NAE LEDS and found both the Battery Fault and General Fault indicators were on. After replacing the battery all LEDs went to normal. That is 24VAC, RUN, 100/Link. and Power are all solid green. The Ethernet LED blinks as it sees activity.

A PING of the IP address is successful. But, I still get this error when trying to access the system via a web browser.

Any suggestions or guidance is appreciated.

Freddy,

Thanks for the assistance. That was the answer. I guess this one can be chalked up to operator error.

Yes he is right, the IP/metasys gets you to the MSEA website. I can use the anytime I connect to one NAE.
