Hi all

Has anybody have or know of a good fst alternative, something like the good old 2650 for ibex?

FST is not a good look when going through major airports always get the 20 questions.

Should work for BACtalk, for Ibex I don't have a clue.

Yip I think that is the one we are looking at getting,

but there was an issue with it, I think someone said there was a problem with the amount of device's that it could see on a trunk.

I guess you would have to disconnect the controller off the trunk and do what ever you wanted to do and then reconnect it.

Is there anything else on the market?

The issue on device limitation is the load of the RS-485 chip. Full load = 32 1/2 load = 64 1/4 load = 128 1/8 = 256. So depending on the system it should be capable of connecting to a buss with more then 32 controllers.
All the systems I work with must use less then full load chips as generally we have more then 32 controllers on a buss.
