View Full Version : heater fuel oil forced hot air

i have a question about my furnace when i turn the thermostat up the heater comes on after it reaches temperature it shut down i just came back home turn the thermostat up the heater would not come on till i hit the thermal overload on the motor .This morning when i got up turn the thermostat t up and same thing i had to reset the thermal overload on the motor what would be causing that?

Call a HVAC service company.
Need to be on site to find the real cause.

WHAT TYPE/FUEL FURNACE. ARE YOU PRESSING A THERMAL OVERLOAD OR A PRIMARY CONTROLL RESET ? IF ITS THE LATTER STOP NOW AND CALL A QUALIFIED SERVICE TECH!! WHEM I SAY QUALIFIED I MEAN SOMEONE WITH TRAINING AND EXPEREANCE ON OIL FIRED EQUIPTMENT! IVE SEEN INEXPERIANCED TECHS BURN DOWN HOUSES!:eek2:
