Other than replacing the door (or drawer front) on a True cooler- what's the best way to deal with the broken plastic handles that seem to plague this junk?

Call True they may replace the door if it's made after a certian date code. Have gotten them for T23F cabinets.

My "Case Parts" book shows replacement handles with a 2-part epoxy to glue them in place. However I have never actually installed one.
<EDIT> OK Nevermind, apparently I have lost my mind! I just checked my book and I couldn't find it...sorry!

Just because it isn't in the Case Parts book, doesn't mean they don't have it. They have a lot of stuff available that isn't in the catalog.

Have you installed those?
I didn't see any instructions.
Just surface glued?

I've left an email - I'm not sure how they attach, but it does look like it would be a reasonable fix to an ongoing issue

I get the entire door replaced under warranty , and I do multiple a year, Just call and ask true tech support they will tell you that they have a lifetime warranty. I think they probably lost a lawsuit or something like that because they dont make it easy, if you ask parts they will say no but tech support will ship the entire door for free. I do so many that I even ask the customers to call and order the door and have it shipped to the job site just because Im afraid that true will think Im lying about how many I order! They dont require anything shipped back either!

In no way did I mean any disrespect, you make some extremely valuable points and I will definetly look into your handles. I personally hate true reach in and they make the bottom of the food chain of. Refrigerators. Can you email me your info on the handles and or contact info.
Email in profile please thanks

IMO Spring tention is a problem with these doors.
This should be done on site.
If True hasn't bought this they obviously have someting in the works or it is no big deal to them.
