I am wondering how everyone else handles totalizing utility measurements for the month. I am using a Jace 6 and Ndio to pick up a gas meter for our plant and I am running this through some math blocks to break the total apart for days and months and resetting the value at the end of each day and month for the respective point. The past few months the total from the meter has been wiped at the Jace and this put my end of month reading quite a bit higher than it should be. I can go back and manipulate the data to get the real reading but there has to be a better way to do this. Thanks in advance.

You can use this simple device http://www.mamacsys.com/ip_sm_101_description.html
gives you minute, hourly, weekly and monthly total. Also can email reports automatically.

Allright that was begging for a sales pitch. What about with the tools I have?

If I understand your question right you can use the Sliding Window Demand Calc in the Energy folder of the kitControl palette.

In the sliding window demand calc is there a way to get it to reset on the first of the month regardless of the day of the week. It seems you would have to satisfy date, day of week and time for it to reset.

Use a schedule and a one shot to reset it.
Works for my hot tub!!
