I am installing a Honeywell W7750 b or c depending on what economizer I use.Alot of people are telling me to use a packaged economizer and set it up to stage one but the controler is set up to do the economizing itself with a few sensors. Why would a packaged one be the prefered choice?I have 7 to do in the same building and will be using lonstation to run the buildings units.I am replacing older w973 and w974 controlers.Any help on this would be great.

Unless there is some form of quirk to the W7750s I'd configure them to do the economizing. Since you have a network only one outdoor temperature or enthalpy is required - this should save some time and money over packaged economizers.

I agree with you but still can't figure out why they like to use the packaged economizer.maybe a safty net makes it less dependent on the controler any way thanks again
