I hope this is the right section of the web board for this.
My home and garage are all radiant floor heat. I have a Burnham boiler that is setup with a primary and distribution loop with 4 zones. Also have a 5th zone for DHW, which is an indirect fired 50 gal tank.
The current controller is a 4 zone Taco control board for the floor heat and then a single zone for the DHW.
I'm trying to get this setup as efficient as possible and was told by an HVAC contractor and also an Energy Audit contractor to look into outdoor reset controllers.
I was going to install a Tekmar 420, but after doing some reading it was suggested for radiant floor heat to use a Tekmar 421 and tie it into an automated mixing valve between the 2 loops (replacing the Honeywell manual unit I correctly have).
I'm just looking for thoughts on what the ideal way to do this is?
I've attached a few photos to further explain.
