I don't think TSA needs to change its policies but people need to recoup their common sense.

Whoever these people were who stood by and made this happen should be given perimeter guard duty around the airport.

My father figures he'll never fly again. With two artificial legs he figures it just won't be worth the hassle.

Hard to believe this could happen.

One hopes this is an isolated case, and 99% of TSA would act like intelligent human beings.

Agree but when the supervisor was called, it did nothing to help. That is scary.

I have a customer who works at the dept. of labor. He said in his department IT they had a major shakeup and they put in place some perfromance measures for employees. I know this sounds crazy government agency actually being efficient, but I tend to believe the guy. He said what scares him is all the dead wood employees thet got run off in this process all ended up at dept. of homeland security, which is of course over TSA. :eek2:

If it went down like reported. People sometimes tend to gloss over, leave out or exaggerate details after the fact.

I hope it was just an isolated poor emloyee

Good friend of mine is a retired police sargeant. Thought he would be a perfect fit for the TSA part-time. They wouldnt hire him since he had a knee surgery years back, even though he's good to go now.
