Couple of thoughts...
First: To the resident liberals... YOUR party made a bigger mess of what they were given... no more blaming the previous folks...
Second: EVERY administration has made mistakes playing politics... time to go back to the constitution!
Three: As far as I am concerned... I do not care what party someone runs from... PROVE to me with your track record you will support the Constitution the way the writers intended, or loose my vote... PERIOD

Or so it seems. Got on the page and it failed to load video so I hit refresh. Now the page will not load and just times out.
Wish you guys would give a brief description of these kinds of links when you post them. Easier to search for alternative sources in cases like this.

Hmmm, YouTube works fine for me... wonder if the Canadian government (the ones that outlawed Foxnews for a long time) are restricting access...
Found this link at your page:

IMO this is a problem that needs to be addressed, both parties are guilty of this.
Again, we find that politicians are for sale... 'WE the People' need to elect politicians that work for us, not for others...
Now would someone tell me how to do that...

Seems to be up and running now, might just have been a server problem.
Keep Fox News out, oh my. Sounds so sinister. No mention that they also kept out RAI International, and Al Jazeera. Actually Al Jazeera, finally got a licence five years after Fox. Bad Canadian government.

Let me get this straight.............................you want alternative sources for something you havent even viewed yet?
So its automatically wrong , you just need to find that little gem you liberals always seek out so you feel special and smarter than the rest of us, AND YOU HAVENT EVEN SEEN IT YET???????
When i originally started to post i was going to voice concern that the conservatives may go 1000 percent in the opposite direction once they begin to run things again, it was a concern, now i hope the democratic party is seen for exactly what it is, an anti liberty, anti freedom socialism, communist organization THAT ENSLAVES THE FEEBLE MINDED.
Ive lost a lot of respect for you man, to automatically condemn anything that does not go along with what the party says, and i thought you were a student of history.
The democratic party = socialism= communism,,,,,,,,,,,,game over, now to enact a few new laws you know kinda like the ones your libs love so much.
Thats right,,,,you know where were going.

The blog prof page locked up on my comp..... cant even close it right now....but I will wait till Im done with the comp and close out IE....
Didnt watch the video because I doubt it contained anything of relevance.....just like all the other political videos Ive seen in the past.
That was funny how zach just jumped to conclusions and went into attack mode.... shows that people on here ...on either side of an issue.... are not open minded about anything and are preprogrammed just to attack.
Probably saw the name and then scanned the post as he was hitting "reply"
It was funny though..... he had a "glenn moment"

Does anyone here have an opinion to offer that agues that the videos in question are not a fair compilation of the issues now in play for both parties?

Funny thing about corny. One who talks all the time about grinding folks up in wood chippers who he dislikes criticizes zak for having a so called "Glenn moment". He is hardly one to criticize anybody for off the cuff comments on this forum and I challenge him to show where I have made anything like the things he has posted on this forum.
I have misread posts in the past as we all have and have apologized for it as soon as I found out that my take was wrong. But I have always kept my cool without losing it like corny has. Thank you, thank you very much

Actually Corny is kind of right. Here you guys are jumping over him right now for saying what? That Boot misread my post and automatically assumed the worst.
That people on the left and right here do the same often just after seeing the name of the poster.
Now is he wrong?
That being said I realized that Boot misinterpreted my post, no big deal. Glen has had his moments, and yes he will admit to being wrong (as hard as it is for him to realize that :patriot:). Boot, not sure if he ever admitted to being wrong. Oh well, at least he is consistent.
Finally got a chance to see the video's, the original link and part 2.
God I wonder about you guys. Not you guys here but Americans, you guys I find funny. It is so sad that you take these videos seriously when all the are is fluff. Flash the flag and say Freedom a couple of times and out come the canons with everyone ready to go marching into the fray.

Wow. Deep stuff. I take it you only read headlines in newspapers, no need to read the article. I can see why Corny said it was standard political stuff and did not 'contained anything of relevance'.
These two videos make Ron Paul's look brilliant. Could you imagine if he used more production value, flashed the flag a few times, used dramatic music to punctuate his thoughts?
So the end result here is to punish the Democrats. So then you get in the Republicans. Same backroom deals, just different players.

Liberal rhetoric? I just commented on the remark Canada did not let Fox News get a broadcasting licence. Conservatives said it was because the powers that be did not want a right wing opinion heard. Of course this was said by people that do not know how the CRTC operates and the history of the regulations. Again people spinning facts to push their agenda.
Never commented on the video till today.

glenn moment.......whats that ???
wood chippers....... yes I have in the past and probably will continue to advocate the use of woodchippers on certain elements of society. Terrorists, murderers, child abusers..... Im sick of seeing society coddle them and make excuses for them...I believe they need to die in the most violent ways as possible and the woodchipper fits that bill to a "T".
What would you do to these criminals glenn...?
Throw them in jail for the rest of their lives while our taxes are driven higher to provide them well balanced meals and medical care.....and provide them with heating and cooled living spaces with tv and other amenities....
Well... I'll quit now...as this thread is sliding off topic.....

I gotta tell you, my Canadian half-brother, that you are wrong. The point of the videos is to capsulize.
capsulize, capsulise
vb (tr) 1. to state (information) in a highly condensed form
2. to enclose in a capsule
The videos are not so much a call to put Republicans in power, but to put both parties on notice that we are not going to take it anymore from either of them.
The message to Republicans is very clear: if you want our vote, you cannot be a republican in name only, and you must stand up for freedom and our Constitution.
I hope that helps you to grasp what's going on there.
As far as Fox and Canada is concerned, I DO understand. I know for example, that any Canadian actor, musician, tradesman, etc can come here and work. Not so for American actors and other coming to Canada. Getting an American actor into Canada is far more difficult than getting a Mexican into Arizona.
Since Fox News is not produced in Canada, the same restriction applied. Canada is very protective of its sovereignty, to the point of absurdity. It took a lot of hard work to get Fox on Canadian TV, and from what I see, most Canadians are glad it's on.

OK fine. But so you say if the politicians do not shape up we are not going to vote for you anymore. Wow, idle threat. You only have two choices, one lies to you one year, the other lies to you the next. And you still get the same crap.
Not sure if you really know the agreements we have between our performing arts. Both countries seem to have similar requirements to who they let in.
http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qa5434/is_200907/ai_n32424593/
As far as protecting its cultural heritage, yes Canada has some requirements but that is more to do with print. Really it was put in place to stop the US from putting on a Canadian cover on a US issue and calling it a Canadian magazine.
You think there is restrictions on TV or movies not produced in Canada? Have you been up here and turned on a TV? Even the CBC, the government financed TV network runs American programing. Lets face it, Hollywood does put out what the masses want to see. Been like that since I was a kid and it sure is not about to change.
What you might be thinking of is that American networks can not broadcast their shows in here if we have a Canadian broadcaster paying for the same programing. The American signal is replaced with the Canadian so that the Canadian advertisers get their commercials aired rather than airing American commercials.

When I inquired about doing voice work in Canada, I was told that they had to use the Canadian actors first, and if no other actors were appropriate for the part, then, and only then, could a non-name US actor be brought in.
Canadian actors, on the other hand, have no trouble taking a vacation in the US and getting cast for parts here.
I stayed in Canada when flying jets, and on every occasion, there was very little US-based programming. Maybe that has changed in 10 years.
Instead of yelling out the window, a lot of people are going to stay with the title "candidate" unless we get some quality. You can count on this as movement that will have staying power, since our current leadership has finally awakened people to the reality of what is going on, and folks don't like it.
Camelot is dead.
