I'm not kidding. On tv today, a kitchen tool made to crack an egg open. Looked like a pliers, nut cracker cross.
There ya go.. I didn't even know this was a problem.

I was told once that the trick to boiled eggs is to not use fresh eggs. The shell sticks.
Did you see the other gadget on a stick with a metal pin on the end that you stick an egg with and turn it on and it scrambles the egg in the shell?
It looked a little like one of those copper pipe reamers.
