Cut off donations until the Christians are released

look, the government doesn't care what we think, they can't make any rational decisions on their own, the only thing we can do is control where we spend our money.

the president of Haiti has the nerve to arrest Christian relief workers on trumped up charges, we need to cut off donatins until someone wants to use their brain.

LOTS of stupidity floating around in this case.

Freakin' common sense says you do NOT take a child across any border, be it state or national, without permission from proper authority at some level...parent, legal guardian, foster parent, government at some level. It does not matter your intentions. What these well-intending folks did was stupidity at its zenith. It's called kidnapping.

The Haitian gummint is also stupid in the extreme. But we already knew that (which only makes the missionaries look even more stupid). Common sense (which is not too common in Haiti) would tell them to make sure the missionaries become aware of their mistake, thank them for their concern, then allow them to continue with or without the child.

It's been said before...ya just can't fix stupid.
