Looks like standard stuff. Most first term prezs' lose seats on both houses and popularity with the masses.

Balance is a good thing.... Not too right and not too left.....:patriot:I would call it tension between branches of government which on the whole is usually a positive.

Having Democratics in control is worse for the country than an Aids epidemic hitting the country. A deadly disease for sure. Thank you very much.

I agree. There seems to be more willingness to be bipartisan when no one party is in complete control.
The fact that a Socialist president cannot get his way with a Senate and House that are dominated by Democrats, even when they completely disregard all other American leaders by having closed door secret meetings, is a credit to the Democrats leading our country overall.
We need balance between conservative and liberal. That is what will keep the U.S. powerful and affluent.

That is a wimpy post robo. What has happened to you over the last week or two. I'm thinking like others on this forum that you have lost it. Come home robo. The only reason were are not a communist country already is that a few blue dog Democrats won't go along with the overwhelmingly majority of socialist fellow Democrats who are radicals to say the least. Most are upset that Obama is not more radical than he already is. Been hearing that for some time now on the news robo. Where have you been.:gah: Thank you very much

I never once said that President Obama is not a radical, leftist Socialist. What in the world does your post have to do with mine?

No robo you misread mine. I didn't disagree with you on Obama but on the Democrats in the Senate and House. Most of them want all out socialism just like Obama only a few blue dog Democrats in the Senate held out against the more agree-gist parts of the health plan and kept it from becoming law.
If we had a Republican majority then it never would have seen the light of day. Don't be to nice to the enemy now.:) Thank you very much.

I do not consider Americans who do not agree with my politics, social values or theology my enemy as long as they are within the laws of our land. I consider these Americans as my misguided bretheren, as I hope is the worst they think of me and my beliefs.

You know if people would stop with the whole labeling of Democrats are this and Republicans are that and just start acting like individuals with their "own" ideas, things just might change. Then again it would require actually reading and turning off the 24 hour "news" stations (and I use the term news very lightly).

Somehow, I think I'll skip your advice...

Not too surprising coming from someone who obviously takes one news source and "shapes his opinion and thinking" based off that.

You know if the Democratic leaders would act like Americans instead of dedicated socialists then maybe we could all just get along. Thank you very much.

Unfortunately the party's themselves have made themselves into teams to be rooted for rather then individual public servants for us to vote for.
Now the Republicans are stressing on having a specific platform. That kind of crap just makes it more difficult for politicians with good ideas outside of the party platform to do a good job for their constituents.

All I want to do is take their pain away and have the cold/illness myself. Sometimes, especially in winter, colds and viruses are caught continuously and passed around.
You running for some office or something?

Everyone has a right to their opinion, but statements like this really just prove my point. The moment that the news started blasting Dems for being socialists all these people started shouting it out like they thought this all along. It is no different than those who called Bush a moron for 8 years because it was being reported that way.
The hard truth is that you have a bunch of Politian’s (lawyers) who are so busy with their own agendas and red tape that nothing gets fixed. Parties are total BS. It is simply a way to divide us as a country and it has worked. I certainly don't live in a fantasy world that expects us all to be on the same page all of the time, but is it really this hard to get these guys to work together? Really?!

This is the absolute truth! This post should be renamed "Politian’s bad for the country"

I can't disagree with that sentiment.
By the way, welcome to the site.
