Ameritect/Circon to FX20

I am currently looking to bid a job to upgrade the front end but all the controllers are lon amritect/circon controllers. Will I be able to autodiscover these points from the controller into the fx20 or do I need the xif files. Its been two years since Ive touched a lon job and im a little rusty any help would be appreciated.

The Ameritech installations used Circon nodes that were API (not LNS) based. This means that you have to use Circon's System Integrator (no longer available) for configuring. If you are using LNS, you can still integrate them in your network provided you have the .xif for each model of Circon node. You can view and modify NVs but you won't be able to use LNS plugins to monitor and configure. Good luck!

is it possible to extract the xif files from these controllers? or to get the xif files from somewhere?
