I am looking for a reliable company that can offer financing and quote a steam boiler in Northern NJ. I have received one from my Oil Co that does my oil delivery but believe it is pricey and would like some options. They offered me a Burnham Mega Steam 288 for my home. It is an older home just under 1150 sq ft. If anyone can steer me in the right direction it would be appreciated. I need to do this soon so am trying to plan this out. Also, if someone can recommend a good steam boiler.
Thank You.

It is a one pipe system. The boiler I have is over 30 years old it is a Hydrotherm.

The Megasteam is a good boiler. Key is finding a great installer who knows STEAM and can install and size the boiler properly. Too many oversize and too many don't know how to pipe steam. Hopefully we have someone from your area that can help you.

What town in Jersey do you call home?

I find more undersized than oversized. Most contractors size them like you would hydronic.
How north are you?
