Johnson Controls FEC Connecting

Hello
I am on a site with two Johnson controllers
FEC # MS- FEC 1611

There is an N2 connection
I am attempting to connect Directly to them
I want to adjust setpoints.

There is no server

Can I connect with N2 Com Pro software via the N2 bus?
Can I make adjustments/ view points with Internet Explorer?
Are there factory default passwords?
What other connections are available(C BL Pro, Ethernet)?

FECs are BACnet MS/TP Devices. You need CCT tool to work with them.

Fec Controllers require a Johnson bluetooth device, and CCT software to connect good luck.

So my my built in WiFi device will no longer suffice?
I will have to purchase a BlueTooth USB adaptor.

Can I View the points If I Connect an NAE using the SCT ?

If all you want to do is view points, chage setpoints , view data , etc. All you need is the right version of Java and Internet explorer to log in to NAE. What version of NAE do you have?

Your internal bluetooth of your computer might work depending on your computer. I use a dell E5500 if not use a USB device, I have used a dlink- DBT-120 it works well. Then you need the Johnson bluetooth device to plug into the Fec and CCT, then the two can be paired up and the fun begins. Yes you can look at the points with a nae, just put the controller on the bus use the user interface thru internet explorer and your in. From there you can add a field device an then auto discover the points and map the ones you wan't.

SCT is the archive and not live. You sign into the NAE UI and you can see the device live if it is discovered and if CCT is on the computer you sign on with then you can use CCT passthrough.

Try "State Transition Table" in Wikipedia. Its the basis for the FEC programming, and if you're used to following a program from input - to logic - to output, this will be a real switch.

Thank you ,that makes sense.When I heard state,I thought of the Turing machine
by Alan Turing.
I viewed state as a conditional response.Perform a certain action based on
the current(condition) ,state.
It also reminds me of the state programming method used by the FX controllers.
