Remember when r-22 was $15 a jug. What happened to the good old days. Have you guys been stockpiling like people did with 12?

that was back in the days of the 15 lb. cylinder. still have 1 that i take with me occassionally when all i have is a full 30 . age has a way of making a 30 heavier than it used to be. m

R22 will be produced until 2020 - new equipment which uses it won't be though.

Actually no. I think the end of supplying equipment with R-22 will leave the market flooded with R-22 for the short run. By the summer of 2011 it may head up there in price, but I think this year due to the soft economy it will not go up much.
WW Grainger usually sells it as a 'loss leader' around here. I bought a bunch last June for $160/jug. Grainger is high on 410A though.

Priced 22 the other day, 410 is about 10 bucks more per jug, and the jug is 5 pounds lighter.
