I installed a high effic Carrier furnace, did all my flue, condensate drain, and re-tubing/configuration for horizontal right.

When starting it up, I get an error code, 3 flashes which says - Pressure switch open, should be closed.

I check all my connections and all were good. Furnace started up over again and then everything ran fine. What caused this to happen in the first place and what does it mean? Only thing I could think of is one of the hoses came lose before start up, but I put this back in.

Thanks

you need to let a pro come out and inspect your work....you probably messed up something.....BTW...you won't get a better response than this until you acquire pro status and discuss this in pro forums.

NO DIY...read site rules!!

I don't care for no pro status, I just want an opinion. The furnace is working fine now. FYI, this isn't a DIY install.

Sorry, this is not a DIY site. So we are not allowed to give out advise of this nature.
Since answering your question in the open Residential Forums would be posting instruction for DIYers that may read this post later.

You do not have to apply for Pro membership. Thats your choice.

BUT, don't expect any technical answers in the open forums.
