Hello To all, I am trying to find a contractor in the Cle Elum, WA area to help with a system design and commissioning. Any recommendations? I have called Brad & Burke and was surprised to not even get a call back after several calls.Any help would be appreciated.

What's the application?
_ Commercial
_ Industrial
_ Retail
_ Residential
_ Institutional

Is any contractor going to be able to address your specifc needs?

Is Cle Elum a somewhat remote location ?
Many (MOST) firms will restrict themselves to a certain area.

Do you need to contact a Seattle or Yakima firm for design guidance?

I am trying to keep my dollars local. It is for a 1600' residential project. I need design assistance as well as labor to hook up a heat pump.

1,600 s.f. does not seem to be too complex.
But, it depends on your goals and needs.

I wish I could assist with some real details, but I am not at home right now.

This thread now appears that it may be 'crossing that line' on DIYer assistance in an inappropriate manner regarding installation issues.
OP has 2 posts. MOD to review.

Hello Dan,
Your response is a strange one, or maybe not! I have posted a request for a HVAC contractor in my area to contact me. Not to get free advise, but to PAY him to provide a service of design and installation. I am puzzled that YOU have taken that request in any other way. I have found a similar response from other in my area. The will all tell me what I need by rule of thumb and sell me an over priced system, but cant back it up with a simple written quotation or any calculated data.

The above sounds like a DIY project,no assistance here, see the rules.

You are a GC ,you should have a relationship with local HVAC contractors,do you?

Strange.
I don't know of any builder. That doesn't have an HVAC contractor that he uses for the houses he builds.
How can you build houses, and NOT have a working relationship with an HVAC contractor.

You claim to be a builder but you do act like this is your First and perhaps ONLY ONE house. You need to be on a first name basis with 60% of the people within 20 miles of Cle Elum, WA.

A REAL, Experienced builder would KNOW that he would have to rely on many firms in Yakima WA.

Local = 70 mile +_ Radius.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS REALLY COUNT! !!
Dave, It might be 4 Outs already for you.

Happy Hunting.
