Hi everyone

what is the requirement chemical level to maintain the the cooling tower water.
it was double BAC cooling tower with Two Carrier chiller 75 ton each.
Ph 8 and CL is about 5 at all time with antifreeze does it good enough?


any comment will be appreciated ,thank you.

Seriously. Theres ALLOT more than ph and cl, I've even seen calc drop out of water and collect on heat exchangers, Do you have a water chem guy?
Send a sample out to a lab.

You will need to look beyond just pH and Cl and have a total water analysis done to see what elements are in the water that could cause problems.
