we're choosing for installation early next week (hopefully!). Which is better? We're opting for electric hot water heat, 50 gal sizing. The boiler will be placed on a cement floor in a conditioned basement - leaks & exterior rusting not so much an issue.
Any other options you'd suggest looking at? Which one's best?
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

If just a standard electric water heater.
Which ever one has the longer tank warranty.

the fury will probably be really pissed off and try to make all the water in the whole world hot at once. The marathon will probably start slow and steady with a really even pace, the problem here is that I have no idea and am just guessing based on the names

I am not sure there is a better Electric water heater on the market than the marathon.
