20 year old whorlpool

I have a 20 year old whorlpool Packaged Heat Pump. I don't know how to read the serial number. I can find the the mouth and year but not the tonnage or BTUH. I think this unit will have BTUH in the model number. The serial number is L890946856 and the Model number is HPHcb25ak04. If anyone can help me it would be much obliged. Thank You

Someone here is probably familiar with whirlpool model numbers.

If not, see if the compressor RLA rating is printed on the nameplate.

For 8-10 SEER systems...

< 10 amps = 1.5 ton
10-12 amps = 2 ton
13-14 amps = 2.5
15-16 = 3 tons

*Not sure about the larger sizes
