Hello all, I am new to this site and am looking for an answer to my HVAC questions.
1. I have done all the needed estimates and interviews of contractors in my local area. Some good, some not. Varying range in prices for same products.
2. Decided on my products and installers. Confident in my coice!
3. Now, I have a 2000sq ft home that has an addition on it. This addition pretty much doubled my home size. When the previous owners did this reno they only ran ducting for HVAC to the main floor. The 2nd level addition has now ductwork for heat. The older brick portion of the house has an attic, the new side does not. Is there anyway of getting ductwork from the old side to the new. Would I be able to come from the attic and attach new on to existing? Would it be a HVAC tech or a sheet metal tech that I shoud ask?

Your installer should be able to help. He can see the house, we can't.

A HVAC contractor can tell you after he see's your home, and investigates the options.

We can't see enough of your house over the internet, even if you post pics, to tell you accurately.
