I'm just shaking my head because it's an issue at all. I would be willing to bet that there are many white lawmakers being investigated at any given time, just not right at this moment.
Maybe further investigation should be done to see what else they have in common? :(

I thought investigators simply follow the evidence where ever it leads. If it happens to lead to particular people who are guilty then thats the way it is.
Follow the evidence to the guilty, period. It matters not what color or race the guilty are if they are the guilty.

Poor, deluded Hugh. As much as we would like for the world be as you described, it is not. The far left views the election of Obama as a referendum against conservatism that has somehow set them above reproach and exempted them from the rules that apply to us low-life conservatives.
To accuse an African-American of anything is now racism.
To voice any level of disagreement with the gay community is now homo-phobia.
To express respect or love for the U. S. is now anti-Mexican, anti-Muslim, etc.
To express anything other than blind trust for the policies of the current administration is now unpatriotic.

Wow, that makes me a homophobic, racist, hateful, psychotic idiot who follows evidence to where ever it may lead. I had no idea I was such a bad person.
Is there any help for me? A re-education camp perhaps?

Yeah, reb. And you previously exposed my position on allowing women to vote. I am slowly being found out. Can I leave now and re-register under a different screen name?
