Turned on heat for first time this season. House temp was 65 degrees, outside temp was 55 degrees and thermostat was set to 70 degrees. The blower started and the heat pump outside also started normally. But the house did not warm to the 70 degree setting as it has in the past. The temp remained at 65-66 degrees. I noticed that the thin tube connected to the heat pump was covered with frost both on the outside and inside of the unit. Is this the refrigerant line and could it need servicing? Thank you for your responses.
