Can anyone explain to me the purpose of the Green Certification that Mainstream is offering and will it give an individual who have it an edge on todays market

I would be interested in more info on green certification. However I have an IGSHPA installer cetification, NATE Heatpump sevice(and other dissiplines), Missouri water well licence, Missouri state LP licence and customers are not knocking our door down. Most don't even understand when it is explained. It does seperate us from our competitors and I am more knowledgable with each one. It is hard when most of your competitors don't care and will only get licened if it means they have to for permit reasons.

Do any one have a study guide for the Green Exam. Im currently in a maintenace program and i want to get my Universal and Green all at the same time.

Actually, Mainstreams 'GREEN' study guide is free, from their site.

Mainstreams certificatioj is a start. It's an open book test. There is also another Green Certification that you can get through ESCO and the Green Mechanical Council
